Background Information on “A Single Father’s Story”
This is a special episode of Thriving Men Podcast. Back in May of 2012, I had the privilege to meet Shawn at Old Chicago. We got talking about life and I soon discovered he was recently divorced and was now trying to raise 4 kids on his own. I asked him if he would be willing to share his story with me. This podcast is the result.
There is so much more I could write about this podcast and about single fathers as a whole, but I really just want this documentary to speak for itself. Please listen and share with others.
This podcast documentary is about 20 minutes long. It is filled with music and narration to help move the story along. I also had several reflections throughout.
I have recently been studying the art of audio narration, so I am proud to say this is my first “art piece.” Let me know what you think of it. I would really love to do more stories like this in the future if people benefit from them.
